Delaney Trowbridge is a photographer, captain, and tour guide passionate about connecting people with the ocean through imagery and education. Her career on whale watching boats in Southern California has spanned nearly 7 years and taken her countless miles across the open sea. She is currently employed by Newport Coastal Adventures and Pacific Offshore Expeditions, where she works as a full-time captain and photo instructor.

Delaney is dedicated to advocating for ethical, scientifically-focused practices in wildlife tourism and photography. In her free time, she has volunteered her skill as a photographer and captain to research efforts in Southern California and Hawaii. She is open to contributing photos of any species to research catalogues or scientific projects upon request.
